Terms and Conditions of Service
1. Lesson Bookings
Driving lessons may be booked by phone, email, website enquiry form, or by direct arrangement with the instructor.
All lessons are subject to instructor availability.
Lesson duration includes briefing and debriefing time where appropriate.
Lessons begin and end at the agreed pick-up and drop-off location unless otherwise arranged.

2. Lesson Availability and Surcharges
Arrival Driving School operates Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 4:00pm at the standard lesson rate.
Lessons starting at 4:00pm or later attract an after-hours surcharge.
Lessons conducted on weekends are charged at a separate weekend rate.
Public holiday lessons may also attract an additional surcharge.
3. Service Areas
Arrival Driving School operates across Adelaide’s northern, eastern and western suburbs, referred to as our Suburban Zone.
Lessons are also offered in Two Wells, Gawler and the Barossa region, referred to as our Regional North Zone.
Lessons in the Regional North Zone include a travel surcharge, reflecting the additional distance from our base in Walkley Heights.
4. Lesson Pricing
Lesson pricing varies depending on:
• Lesson duration
• Time of day
• Day of the week
• Travel distance
Current pricing is published on the Arrival Driving School website and may be updated from time to time.
5. Payment Terms
Lesson fees must be paid at the time of booking or at the beginning of the lesson, unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods may include:
• Cash
• Bank transfer
• Card payment (where available)
Arrival Driving School reserves the right to refuse a lesson where payment has not been made.
6.Cancellation and Rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice or missed lessons (no-shows) will be charged in full.
If a student arrives late, the lesson may still finish at the originally scheduled time.
Arrival Driving School reserves the right to reschedule lessons due to illness, vehicle issues, traffic conditions or unsafe weather.
7.Instructor Delays
While every effort is made to commence lessons on time, delays may occasionally occur due to traffic conditions, extended lessons, roadworks or other circumstances outside the instructor’s control.
8. Student Responsibilities
Students must hold a valid:
• Learner’s Permit
• Australian Driver’s Licence, or
• Recognised overseas licence
and carry it during every lesson.
Students must:
• Follow all instructor instructions
• Obey South Australian road laws
• Wear appropriate footwear suitable for driving
Students must not attend lessons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication that may impair driving ability.
9. Vehicles Used for Lessons
Driving lessons are conducted in automatic vehicles fitted with dual controls.
Instructor vehicles may contain:
• GPS tracking systems
• In-vehicle cameras
These systems may be used for safety, training and insurance purposes.
Students are responsible for any traffic infringement notices received while driving.
10.Fitness to Drive
The instructor may refuse or terminate a lesson if a student:
• Is unfit to drive
• Acts dangerously
• Fails to follow instructions
Where a lesson is terminated for these reasons, the full lesson fee will apply.

11. Driving Test Preparation (VORT)
Arrival Driving School provides instruction to help students prepare for the Vehicle On Road Test (VORT).
The decision to attempt a driving test should be based on the instructor’s professional assessment of readiness and safety.
Arrival Driving School reserves the right to decline to recommend or book a driving test if the student has not reached the required standard.
Driving tests are conducted by authorised examiners independent of Arrival Driving School, and the outcome of any assessment cannot be guaranteed.
12.Refunds and Lesson Packages
Refunds may be considered in limited circumstances at the discretion of Arrival Driving School.
If prepaid lesson packages are partially used and a refund is requested:
• completed lessons will be charged at the standard single lesson rate
• the remaining balance may be refunded.
Administration fees may apply for processing any refunds.

13. Privacy and Data Use
Arrival Driving School may collect personal information for:
• lesson bookings
• communication with students and parents
• driving instruction records
Personal information may be shared with:
• authorised driving examiners
• licensing authorities
• the South Australian Department for Infrastructure and Transport
Vehicle cameras or monitoring systems may operate during lessons for safety and training purposes.
14. Recording and Social Media
Students must not record, livestream or publish video or audio of driving lessons without prior consent from the instructor.
15. Changes to Terms
Arrival Driving School reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
